The Namibia Red Cross Society is appealing to the Namibian nation to make financial contributions to the Algino Bertolini Trust Fund aimed at raising funds for nine year old Algino who is in desperate need of a liver transplant. The society this week donated N$10 000 to the family and decided to solicit more funding for Algino by partnering with MTC in setting up an SMS line whereby members of the public can make donations. All the proceeds will go to the boy's medical costs. 

You can make a contribution by sending "Algino" to SMS 2005 at a cost of N$5.00.
The SMS campaign runs until the 31^st of March 2011.
